Location: the hotel was just next door to surrounding areas, and Clovelly and Hartland. Savoury breakfast, really enjoyed the place where it was. The double room was gorgeous, had glorious views. A kettle, central heating, and iron/ironing board were available here.

The Southdown B&B in Clovelly exceeded our expectations in every way. the immaculately clean room was spacious and had a charming sea view. the comfortable bed and lovely bedding ensured a great night's sleep. the bathroom was luxurious with a walk-in shower, soft towels, and Helen's own luxurious soap. the hosts, Helen and Brian, were genuinely friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and relaxed. the breakfast was superb, with a delicious cooked-to-order menu and a great selection to choose from. the facilities were excellent, with clear information available in the room, good coffee and tea, biscuits, and even chocolates. a charming place with outstanding hosts - we highly recommend it.
Felt extremely welcome, nothing to complain about.
